Love Island’s Jess White has said she would be “happy” to return to her day job if she doesn’t find success on the show.
The 25-year-old currently stacks shelves at the upmarket grocery store M&S.
The retail assistant who has worked in the food hall for the past eight years has been given a “career break” from bosses.

Jess also added that while she loves working for M&S, she won’t be packing any of their clothes for her trip to Mallorca.
She said: “I love my job, it wouldn’t be a problem if I only lasted a week and was back in M&S stacking shelves.”
“One of my big bosses guessed what I was doing… I said, that’s not happening but I cannot lie so she absolutely knew what I was doing.”

“I told everyone else I was going travelling, which they thought was a bit weird, but okay.”
“They said to me ‘take a career break’ they were so flexible, they’re so flexible as a company, I thought I’ll leave now and really enjoy myself but the door has been left open, it’s a really nice position to be in.”
“For backstory M&S have a new buyer so it’s literally gone from granny clothing to stuff I would wear. But I haven’t actually bought any clothes from M&S with me… clothing wise, I’m a PLT girl really.”

Jess has been single for two years since coming out of a long-term relationship where she admitted she forgot who she was.
She said: “I was in a long-term relationship, I was with my ex for a long, long time. I broke up with him two years ago.”
“When I broke up with him I wanted to be single and enjoy myself. You know when you have been in a relationship for a long time you forget who you are on your own, especially because I was with him from a young age.”
