Love Islander Jess White has revealed her mum was on an iconic dating show years before she entered the villa.
The popular dating show returned to our screens on Monday, June 3rd, as Jess joins 12 other singletons looking to find love.
The series is filmed once again in Majorca and hosted by the one and only Maya Jama.
The reality star has revealed she is not the first in her family to take part in the TV dating show.
The retail manager confessed to The Sun: “So my mum went on – when she was younger – she went on the knockoff version of Blind Date with someone called Bruce something.”
“I can’t remember his name.”
“And there’s video footage of it somewhere,” she continued.
“My grandad tried to dig it out for us the other day. We can’t find it anywhere.”
She admitted: “So that’s a no-go, but I’m basically doing the modern-day version of what she did when she was like 18.”
“My mum was like dead supportive, and my stepdad as well. He’s like an icon.”
“He’s like, ‘That’s amazing. Go on, live your best life’ all that stuff. So, so positive,” she added.

At the beginning of the first episode of the new series, the Islanders ranked each other on most boyfriend/ girlfriend material to least.
Taking turns, the girls ranked the boys first and then the boys ranked the girls.
From most relationship material to least the girls were: Mimii, Nicole, Jess, Patsy, Samantha & Harriet.
From most relationship material to least the boys were ranked: Munveer, Sean, Ronnie, Ayo, Sam & Ciaran.

However, the producers threw a spanner in the works as TOWIE star Joey Essex entered the villa.
