Travis Kelce has called Prince William “the coolest” after they met backstage at Taylor Swift’s concert in London last weekend.
The pop star has landed in London for the first concert of three in June as part of her record-breaking Eras tour with many royals and celebs in attendance.
The Prince of Wales took to Instagram to share the sweet moment when he, George, Charlotte and Taylor all took a selfie.
The post was captioned: “Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour.”
The singer then shared the selfie taken, with her boyfriend Travis Kelce joining the group for the snap.
Taylor captioned the post: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝”
Speaking on his podcast New Heights with his brother Jason Kelce, the NFL star opened up about meeting the royals at the concert.
He admitted: “We don’t even know if we’re allowed to tell you guys,” as Jason added: “We’ve gotten mixed messages on whether we’re allowed to share this story or not.”
Travis gushed: “Dude, he was the coolest motherf**ker. He was so cool.”
His brother agreed, saying the Prince was “awesome” and “a good dude.”
The pair confessed that they were unsure if they had to follow royal protocol as they expressed how they didn’t know how to address the future monarch.
Travis continued: “We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the pond.”
“They said that because we weren’t like at, like, an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsey,” Jason added.
“If we would have been at an official meeting of royalty event, then it would have been that. But I did still address him as ‘Your Royal Highness.'”
Jason confessed: “I’ve never felt emasculated, and I did. That was the closest I’ve ever been.”
Travis joked that he has “never” seen his brother “give someone that much respect.”
