Taylor Swift spotted wearing Irish designer on her Eras Tour

Taylor Swift has been spotted wearing Irish designer Paula Rowan’s gloves on her Eras Tour.

The pop singer recently wore a pair of Paula’s AIDA gloves twice.

The gloves embody classic features, from flattering triple darts to individually hand-stitched leather panels.

Paula Rowan is an Irish glove designer whose bold and luxurious creations are fast becoming a global sensation.

Described as “an accessory secret” on her website, Paula has dressed the likes of The Princess of Wales, Lady Gaga, Madonna and now Taylor Swift.

Taylor’s tour wardrobe features a string of high-octane looks with bespoke outfits for each era, and Paula’s gloves are featured in the “Tortured Poets Department” section.

The first time the white leather gloves were worn was to compliment her Vivienne Westwood dress.

The Vivienne Westwood dress is custom-made and corseted. The design, created from recycled white taffeta, features lyrics from her latest single, Fortnight: “I love you, it’s ruining my life.”

On the second occasion, she wore the AIDA gloves with a Vivienne Westwood silver twill tailcoat with a black crystal-embellished lapel, which she paired with a custom silver twill bustier and matching high-waisted briefs.

The Dublin-based designer said: “Taylor Swift is known for her strength and confidence as well as her ability to constantly transform and evolve.

“For all of those reasons, I am delighted that she chose my gloves to wear.”

“Swift’s style has evolved over her career and she uses both her lyrics and her outfits to communicate and to craft a story so I am honoured to be a part of that narrative,” Paula added.

The news comes ahead of Taylor bringing her Eras Tour to Dublin this weekend – playing the Aviva Stadium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
