Travis Kelce has gushed over his girlfriend Taylor Swift, insisting that he would never hide their love.
The couple have been dominating headlines ever since they were first linked in September 2023, with fans obsessing over their whirlwind romance.
The NFL star confessed that he is “proud” that the world now knows about their romance.
Speaking on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, the American footballer admitted: “I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘how can I keep this under wraps?’.”
“You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”
Travis continued to gush over the pop megastar: “She’s very self-aware… She understands situations like that, and I think that’s why I really started to fall for her, how genuine she is just around friends and family.”
“It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she keeps it so chill and so cool, and I can admire it for sure.”
The 34-year-old confessed Taylor “really won him over” with how much she wants to “support” his career.
“The first game she came to against the Bears, I was like, ‘I can probably set you up with everything,’ and she just walked right through the front door.”
“There’s no like going down, talking to security, making sure she [gets to her seats]. She was like, #2I just want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.”
“I was just like, “got points for that.’ She’s in the madness. She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me and do things like that. She really won me over with that.”
Travis surprised fans as he performed on stage with Taylor Swift at Wembley on Sunday night.
The pair were reportedly living together at his $6 million mansion in Kansas City after the singer finished the South American leg of her tour.
The couple who had not posted each other on social media, “hard launched” their relationship as they performed in front of 90,000 fans.
Fleabag’s Andrew Scott and Sir Paul McCartney also attended the concert.
It is the first time the pair have taken to the stage together, after officially announcing their relationship on Instagram on Friday evening.
On Sunday night, the American footballer joined Taylor onstage for a costume change before the song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
The NFL was dressed in a white bow tie, tailcoat and top hat.
Travis picked Taylor up, fanned her and powdered her face as part of the act.
Before Taylor carried on with her performance, she blew a kiss to her athlete boyfriend before he exited the stage.
