Vogue Williams has admitted she can get obsessed about her looks.
The Dublin star currently has her new RTE show On The Edge airing, and admitted she finds it tough seeing herself on TV.
“I didn’t realise how easy it was to become obsessed with the way you look,” she told Goss.ie.

In the latest episode, Vogue entered a bikini competition which she said was fun but very different to what she’s used to, having modelled before and is very comfortable in her own skin.
“It’s very nerve-wrecking to be judged on your body like that. I didn’t realise how easy it was to become obsessed with the way you look from doing things like that,” she told Goss.ie.
“I’m very competitive so I found myself being like ‘Ugh, I don’t look like the other girls.’
“I found myself thinking things about my body that I never thought about before because I’m quite comfortable in my own skin.
“From doing that, I thought ‘This would not be for me,’ because I would be too easily influenced by the competition and easily become quite obsessed with that but [the competitors] see it as a sport.
“I just don’t think it’s the healthiest of sports to be doing. I think that you put your body through a lot, I don’t think it’s a healthy thing to do to yourself.”

Even thought she clearly is not a fan of body building, Vogue said people will continue to take part, but they should be careful.
“I don’t think I can say if it’s good or not because I think that people are interested in different things and that’s what makes it us all amazing.
“People aren’t going to change their mind about wanting to be in a body building competition or anything like that because of what I say.
“Each to their own, but I would say just be careful if that’s the route you decide to go down,” she added.
