Stephen Mulhern has broken his silence on a rumoured romance with This Morning host Josie Gibson.
The pair were caught holding hands as they were filming the final episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway over the weekend.
Stephen was grilled about their relationship during an interview with This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on Tuesday.
While promoting his book, Max Magic, Stephen was seen making use of the ASMR area set up and Ben quipped that he felt comfortable on set because he was “with one of our own.”
The 47-year-old laughed off the comment and told Ben to “shut his face” before they cut to an AD break.
The show continued on but at the end of Steven’s interview, the two hosts couldn’t help but bring it up again.

However, Stephen swiftly shut down rumours and said: “Listen, she didn’t turn up to rehearsals, I held her hand and I showed her where to stand. That is it. Finito!”
“Uh-huh, really. Your lips are sealed?” poked Cat, while Ben said, “Me thinks he protest too much.”
The ITV presenters tried to contain their laughter as a mortified Steven asked: “Why are you doing this to me?! Unbelievable!”
In April, Josie told MailOnline about the possible relationship: “I’m in love with Stephen Mulhern. There you go.”
Last year, Josie told MailOnline she was in the early stages of a relationship: “There is someone in my life at the moment but it’s early stages…I’ve said I love you.”
“It’s best to just get it out of the way, I don’t like playing games.”
At the time, fans were convinced this secret lover was cameraman Sam Porter who she shared photos looking very cosy with on a job in Paris.
Later, she revealed: “I am not in a relationship, neither am I in love with cameraman Sam. I am not with Sam Morter..
“I love Sam Morter, he is my work colleague, I’m like his older sister. I’m like his auntie. That’s as far as it goes.”
The presenter admitted she wants to spend her time with her son Reggie, five – whose father she split up with when their son was just five months old.
Previously, she was engaged to plumber Luke Sanwo, but they split in 2015 after five years together.
