Success keeps on coming for director Lenny Abrahamson.
The 49-year-old’s recent flick Room has been nominated for a host of film awards including Best Drama at the Golden Globes and now his new TV show has just been picked up by Hulu.
Deadline.com has reported that two seasons and twenty episodes of Chances have been ordered.
Star: Lenny will be working with Hugh Laurie on the new show
Lenny will be producing the show and is also slated to direct several episodes of the series where he will work alongside House actor Hugh Laurie.
Based on the novel by Kem Nunn, Chances follows a neuropsychiatrist who finds himself at odds with the abusive spouse of one of his patients.
However, things take a turn for the worst when it’s revealed the spouse is also a member of the police department.
The show is slated to premiere later this year.
