Louise Thompson shares health update following hospital release

Louise Thompson has shared a health update following her hospital release.

The former Made In Chelsea star was admitted to hospital in January following a series of issues she has faced since giving birth to her son, Leo.

The 33-year-old gave birth to Leo on November 15, 2021, and has struggled with her mental health after she nearly died giving birth to her little boy.

Sharing a series of photos of her “in-between moments from the last week or so”, she wrote: “A sweaty and sore 48 hours. But we move. 😊”

“Recovery isn’t linear and all that jazz. Mission: get through the weekend, then review.”

“Here are some uncontrived, in-between moments from the last week or so.”

“1. I don’t know why I love this photo so much. Probably because it captures a rare off guard moment where neither Sam or i are posing or smiling for the camera. Ryan snuck it through the garden doors. I feel very lucky to have family local and rallying around.”

“2. My easle and canvas pre a particularly dodgy abstract portrait of Ryan.”

“3. Rosie bringing me books looking like a mega babe as always.”

“4. My darling Leo… pretty sure he’s wearing the same jeans as Ro which means he must be on trend.”

“5. The longest lasting tulips. Thank you for tips.”

“6. Homemade cards from family. Truly nothing better than a letter or card. Time is the most valuable commodity and these sorts of things require it.”

“7. Best boys twinning in denims. Ryan has been a saint taking Leo to do boyish activities, taking… and collecting him from nursery, dropping me at all my medical appointments that, believe me, are racking up and also doing bath-time and bedtime as I can’t lift. The list goes on.”

“8. A little lion tapestry from a golden friend, you know who you are. One of the things I said to myself when I was ‘not at home’ (don’t wanna use the H word anymore) was that I wanted to do more slow and creative pursuits. Pottery, crochet, painting, gardening… basically entering my granny era. So here I am. The good news is that this says it’s suitable for 7+ on the back so it’s well within my remit and hasn’t yet scared me off. A great gift for anyone going through a ‘slow period’”

“9. Baked goods. I can eat the one with the daisy on top. I think. Still learning.”

“10. Laughter is thy medicine. Especially yours. L 🤍”
