Fans frenzy as popular contestant sparks Love Island Games speculation with cryptic post

Fans are frenzying after Samie Elishi shared a cryptic post, sparking speculation she’ll return to the villa for Love Island Games.

The brand new All Stars spinoff, will arrive on Peacock on November 1.

The series is set to bring together Islanders from the UK, USA and Australia versions of the hit dating show for a second shot of love – and the line-up has yet to be confirmed.

Taking to TikTok on Thursday, Samie shared a video of herself with the caption “Winter 2023 👋🏼❄️🫶🏼🏝️.”

The 23-year-old lip-synced to the viral sound “To be honest, I don’t know what happened… but we need a re-do.”

One user penned: “GET ON LOVE ISLAND GAMES SIS,” as another wrote: “Go back on Love Island.”

Meanwhile, a third said: “This better mean Love Island Games.”

It comes after Samie’s split from Tom Clare.

The former couple, who placed third on the winter series of Love Island earlier this year, called it quits just weeks after leaving the South African villa.

While fans hoped they had rekindled their romance, Samie insisted they were just friends in an interview with The UK Sun last month.

Speaking about her relationship with Tom, she said: “No, we’re not back on, we’re just really good friends.”

When asked if there was a chance of them getting back together, Samie continued: “I don’t know, once you’ve been there and done it with someone… we had our run and it went well, but I’m happy that we don’t hate each other now.”

“We can all go out still and have fun, we were all out last night and it’s been a lot of fun.”

“Tom’s so supportive, he such a lovely guy, I haven’t got a bad word to say about him,” she added.

While Samie had nothing but good things to say about Tom last month, the pair have since unfollowed each other on social media – hinting there may be a touch of animosity between them.

After splitting from Tom, could Samie make her return to Love Island?

In the first official TV ad for Love Island Games released last month, narrator Iain Stirling has teased what fans can expect from the series.

The Scotsman says: “This fall, all your favourite Islanders from around the world are back – fighting for love and survival.”

“With host Maya Jama – get ready for romance, drama and a whole bunch of hotties that didn’t find love the first time around. Love Island Games, premieres November 1, only on Peacock.”

Although an official line-up has yet to be announced, a number of former Love Island contestants have been linked to the new series.

Take a look:

Luca Bish

Luca Bish shot to fame after appearing on Love Island in 2022.

The former fishmonger has been single since splitting from Gemma Owen shortly after the show.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted that he recently spent time in Los Angeles, and are convinced he may have been there to meet with ITV bosses in the US ahead of Love Island Games.

Lucinda Strafford

Love Island 2021 star Lucinda Strafford also recently spent time in Hollywood, sparking speculation she may be appearing on the spin-off series.

The 23-year-old is newly single after splitting from her on-off boyfriend, Irish footballer Aaron Connolly, for good earlier this year.

Joanna Chimonides

Joanna Chimonides appeared on the 2019 series of Love Island, where she famously coupled up with Michael Griffiths during Casa Amor.

The bombshell jetted off to Los Angeles just last week, shortly after her best friend Kady McDermott returned from Mallorca following her second stint on the dating show.

Could Joanna be following in Kady’s footsteps and appearing on Love Island again?
