Ahead of the celebrities’ jungle stint, the I’m A Celeb camp is reportedly flooded with flesh-eating leeches.

According to a new report, heavy rain is expecting is expected in the opening days of filming, with heavy winds which could reach 30mph.

Show bosses could be forced to limit trips to the jungle waterfall as the creek becomes infested with leeches after the heavy precipitation.

Last year, an I’m A Celeb spokesperson confirmed camp access was shut for 24 hours due to torrential rainfall.

Former campmate Joe Swash previously revealed the waterhole becomes over-run with insects during heavy bouts of rain, saying: “It’s got leeches everywhere in the water.”

Ex-contestants Kim Woodburn and Nicola McLean have also had run-ins with leeches during their time in the Australian jungle.
