Sarah Greene has admitted that while she admires the divas of the entertainment industry – she doesn’t have “the balls” to be one herself.
The Cork native currently stars in the new series of Sky Atlantic’s Penny Dreadful which airs May 5.
While her star may be on the rise, Sarah has insisted we wont be seeing any demanding behaviour from her anytime soon.

“I do enjoy a good diva, I admire them, I just don’t have the balls to do it,” she said.
The actress had to strip off for her Penny Dreadful role as Hecate Poole and revealed filming the nude scenes was very “awkward”.
“It’s very awkward, you can’t see either, cause you’ve contact lenses in, which is kinda good, all I can see is green, so you’re in your own cocoon.”

While Sarah continues to find work, she hasn’t forgotten how tough it is to survive in the acting biz and is always auditioning.
“I’m auditioning for loads of stuff, loads of meetings about meetings, and yeah, fingers crossed I get a job. I want to work, I love working,” she told The Anton Savage Show on Today FM.
“I like resting as well, but I prefer working. I am getting put forward for lots of really great stuff. I might spend a month in New York or go to LA, I dunno.”

The TV star has been nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in The Cripple Of Inishmann opposite Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe who she divulged was a pleasure to work with.
“He’s so lovely, he’s really lovely. It must be a mad old world growing up on those massive sets. I got a taste of it working on Penny Dreadful.”
It comes after Sarah’s boyfriend Aidan Turner revealed he’s moving to New York to be with her.
