Maura Higgins has revealed she is not training for Dancing On Ice at the moment.
The Love Island star has been in training for the ITV show which will return to our screens in January.
Taking to Instagram alongside her professional dance partner, Alexander Demetriou, Maura said she is unable to train for the show at the moment because of an injury.
“Hello, Maura’s Instagram. She can’t say hello right now cause she’s in pain it’s like the end of the world,” said Alexander.
“I think I’ve broken my ribs and I’m being deadly serious,” Maura added, “so we can’t skate.”
“Let’s pray! Can I have some sympathy from everyone, please?” she asked.
Alexander, however, reassured both Maura and fans by saying “She’ll be okay.”
It comes amid rumours that Maura is set to replace Caroline Flack as the host of Love Island Winter when it commences in January.
Caroline was arrested for assault by beating last Thursday, 12th December.
ITV have not yet commented on her arrest, nor have they advised if she will be replaced.
