The American TV star rumoured to be dating Rory McIlroy has insisted: I’m not his new birdie.
Meghan Markle was linked to the Northern Irish golfer after they looked smitten while doing their Ice Bucket Challenge together earlier this year.
But Meghan, speaking before their meal in Fade Street Social, said she knew people would “go crazy” seeing they were together again – but she just shrugs off the rumours.

She added:Â “I’ve just stopped reading it. I think that’s probably part of the value of that. We’re going to have dinner this week and I’m sure people are going to go crazy over that.
“It’s funny too because when we did the Ice Bucket Challenge he told me that he nominated me, he sent me a text.
“And I just said, ‘I’m in New York and I’m going back to Toronto and I’ll do it then,’ and it happened so seamlessly and he was like, ‘I’m in New York right now, let’s do it together.'”
And Meghan, who films Suits for nine months of the year in Toronto, Canada, feels that leaves her sheltered from the love rumours swirling around Rory following his split from Caroline Wozniacki.

“I think it’s really funny because we’re so off the radar in Toronto where we film so we don’t deal with it in the same way we would if we shot the series in New York or LA,” she told U Magazine.
“There’s not a huge paparazzi presence in Toronto either so I haven’t really had to deal with it to the same extent that I think a lot of people have. I just take it with a pinch of salt.”
Last week, it emerged that Meghan has a secret chef boyfriend – and the TV actress said being linked to Rory is just a “champagne problem” in her life compared to the previous hell she suffered through.

She added: “I see what happens when I go out in the world but that’s not what I see when I wake up in the morning. In the morning I just see my same freckles and I just see me.
“And I’m so aware of what it was like when I was struggling as an actor. I never forget that. I never forget I only had $20 in my bank account and could barely put gas in the car.
“Those are all very present thoughts for me so when this stuff happens it’s just weird. It’s weird and I pinch myself”.
