Louise Duffy IS moving for Dermot & Dave – and bags new primetime slot

Today FM have confirmed that Louise Duffy is making way for Dermot & Dave when they start at the station.

The 98FM pair were announced as joining the station last month – with Goss.ie reporting earlier they looked set for her 12pm to 2.30pm slot.

Now Today FM have released a statement revealing Paul Galvin’s fiancee will be moving to a “new slot in the primetime schedule”.

It comes as the 28-year-old managed to boost her slot by 5,000 listeners over the last three months, new JNLR radio figures show.

A spokeswoman added that she had only “temporarily” been hosting the slot.

She said: “Louise Duffy, who temporarily took over the lunchtime reins in March of this year, has brought in an additional 5,000 listeners, proving her popularity with the station’s audience.

“Louise will be moving to a new slot in the primetime schedule in the coming weeks as part of the station’s Autumn plans.

She was handed the slot earlier this year when KC moved back to Cork.
