Tristan Thompson’s baby mama Maralee Nichols has sparked engagement rumours.
The personal trainer gave birth to a baby boy named Theo on December 1st 2021, and a paternity test later confirmed that Tristan is the father.
Tristan was in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian, who he shares two children with, at the time – and the paternity scandal caused the couple to break up for good.
In photos published by The Sun, Maralee was spotted wearing a diamond ring on that finger, as she played with her son Theo in the park.
It is understood that Maralee no longer has a relationship with Tristan, as she has accused him of doing “nothing” to support their son.
According to legal documents obtained in August, the basketball star offered Maralee $75,000 in hush money instead of paying monthly child support.
The pair eventually settled their paternity case, and Tristan was ordered to pay $9.5K a month in child support.
Tristan shares two children with Khloe, a daughter named True and a son named Tatum – who they welcomed via surrogate last July.
Khloe and Tristan first started dating in 2016, but their relationship hit the rocks when the NBA star was accused of cheating – just days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter True in April 2018.
The reality star controversially decided to stand by Tristan, but less than one year later, he was caught kissing family friend Jordyn Woods at a house party in February 2019.
Khloe dumped the basketball player for good, but she decided to give their relationship another chance in 2020 – after they grew close during lockdown.
Months later, the couple split again in June 2021 after Tristan was accused of cheating with Instagram model Sydney Chase, but the pair reconciled towards the end of the year.
Just weeks later, it was revealed that Tristan fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee, which put an end to his relationship with Khloe once and for all.
Just days before the paternity scandal came to light, Khloe and Tristan completed the final step in their vitro fertilization process with an embryo transfer, and their surrogate became pregnant with their second child.
Last September, it was revealed that Tristan and Khloe were secretly engaged before their split, after he proposed in February 2021.
Tristan is also father to a six-year-old son named Prince, who he shares with his ex, Jordan Craig, 31.
