Jason Oppenheim issues warning to Selling Sunset stars after armed robbery

Jason Oppenheim has spoken out about a recent armed robbery that took place in his office parking lot.

On Thursday, March 17, a man was robbed at gunpoint in the same parking lot as The Oppenheim Group in West Hollywood, and was forced to hand over his expensive watch.

The 44-year-old has since warned his crew of realtors, including Chrishell Stause and Mary Fitzgerald, to refrain from wearing luxury goods to work.

Speaking to TMZ after the incident, he said: “I told them not to wear jewelry or watches anymore. We have to be diligent, you’ve got to look over your shoulder these days.”

“I’ve let everyone know of the situation. We still have to work as normal but obviously not wearing any watches.”

“[We’re] being careful, just looking around. It was very concerning, this city is having a lot of issues right now.”

In a separate statement to E! News, the real estate broker said: “I’m concerned about all of our safety, the brazen armed robberies and overall crime in this city has become a serious concern for everyone.”

“Several of us—including my brother and I—are feeling it necessary to arm ourselves, as well as increase security at the office.”

The news comes just two weeks after two armed robbers tried to break into the home of Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn.
