Amanda Brunker gets put to work on a building site in her brand new TV3 series, Danger – Amanda at Work.
The ex-Miss Ireland tried out some of the toughest jobs in Ireland for the four part series as she attempted to get an insight into contemporary Ireland.
Each week, Amanda lived with one of her co-workers as she tried to fully immerse herself into the community that she worked with in each episode.

And this is the first look at the second episode, where the TV star gets to work on a construction site.
It is one of the industries in Ireland hardest hit by the recession and subject to very strict practices, ensuring the busty blonde had her work cut out for her.

The author joined a site in Roscommon as a General Operative and took on a host of tough duties including brick laying, making cement and even has to climb a crane to take site pictures.
Amanda worked closely with men who were directly affected by the construction boom and subsequent gloom. The 40-year-old asked some of the men how the recession has affected their business.
One worker said: “It’s hard enough to get people now, everyone has gone abroad. If we wanted to get block layers in the morning it would be hard enough to get them.
He went on: “There’s no young people taking up trades, there’s no money for them, the wages aren’t in it, it’s easier for them to go abroad or stay on the dole.”
