John Wells, director of highly-anticipated film Burnt, has set the record straight over cutting Jamie Dornan’s role in the flick.
Speaking about editing The Fall star out of the movie, John admitted the actor’s part did not apply to the new direction the film was going in.
“In making every film, cuts and adjustments in storylines inevitably occur,” he said.

“In the case of Burnt, Jamie’s role was a small cameo that he was kind enough to do for us and was part of Sienna Miller’s character’s backstory.
“We ultimately decided to focus on Adam Jones’ redemption story,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
Although leaving Jamie’s scenes on the cutting room floor, the American film maker praised the Holywood native’s performance.
“I was thrilled to have Jamie. His performance was fantastic,” he said.
