Niall Horan could spend his time becoming a football star during One Direction’s hiatus as he was spotted training with LA Galaxy over the weekend.
The 22-year-old joined fellow Irish man Robbie Keane and soccer superstars Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole for a training session on Sunday afternoon in LA – and according to Robbie, Niall could be LA Galaxy’s new number seven.
Taking to Instagram, the football legend shared a snap of Niall hanging out with him and his son Robert Jr in the LA Galaxy locker room, and joked that Niall could be joining the team.
The picture, which shows Niall sporting an LA Galaxy jersey, was captioned with, “@lagalaxy new number 7. Always good to see pal, see you Sunday at the game. @niallhoran.”
The Mullingar native looked surprisingly fresh during the training session following a heavy weekend partying, after he was spotted on a night out on Friday at 1OAK club in West Hollywood with some female pals.
The singer then flew to Las Vegas on Saturday to support our very own Conor McGregor at UFC 196 in the MGM Grand.
