Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have split after 14 years of marriage.
The former This Morning hosts “are in the process of divorcing”, stating that work “took their marriage in different directions.”
A spokesperson for the couple told the DailyMail: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail that it has been over for a year since they split, but they were “determined to keep it a secret.”
Ruth and Eamonn denied there were any problems when asked in recent months as they wanted to avoid it becoming public.
Their romance sparked concern in recent weeks as Ruth admitted that the last two years had been hard on their relationship after Eamonn suffered from serious health issues.

The pair are parents to son Jack, 22 – with Eamonn also having sons Declan, 35, Niall, 31, and daughter Rebecca, 33, from his previous marriage.
