Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian have shared some sweet snaps from their baby shower.
The couple have been married since 2015, and are expecting their second child via surrogate this summer.
Taking to Instagram, the pair gave in insight into the celebration as they prepared to welcome the baby.
Brian wrote: “Baby Dowling Gourounlian Number 2, let’s go & CELEBRATE you & your imminent arrival 🤍”
“It’s Baby Shower Time @gourounlian. Our theme is white, so what could possibly go wrong?”
“I’m also wearing the exact same fabulous Espadrilles I wore to Blake’s shower in 2022 & we all know how that ended 😜”
“We can’t wait to CELEBRATE with all our family & friends🥂,” they added.
Last month, Brian announced he’s taking a break from his 98FM radio show before the arrival of his second child.
The presenter told listeners this morning that he’ll be taking a summer break from his show, which he hosts with Suzanne Kane (weekdays 10am-1pm) to spend time with his growing family.
Live on his 98FM show this morning, Brian said: “I am taking the summer off. I’ll be at home, full time Dad, with Blake and baby number two. I’m so looking forward to it. The guys here at 98FM have been so good. Normality will resume in September!”
While Brian is focusing on his new arrival, social media star and TV presenter James Patrice will co-host the show with Suzanne Kane for the summer months.
Brian and Arthur announced that they were expecting their second child back in March.
Taking to Instagram at the time, the presenter wrote alongside images of their daughter, Blake: “Our family is going to get bigger. We @gourounlian are so excited about the arrival of Baby Dowling Gourounlian Number 2 this Summer.”
“We have already been so blessed with Blake we can’t believe how lucky we are as parents to welcome another baby to our family. Blake is going to be the BEST BIG SISTER EVER 💚”
Speaking on the RTÉ Guide podcast in March, the Dancing With The Stars judge said: “Yeah. Everybody knows. Aoife has been absolutely incredible. From day one she knew we wanted siblings for Blake so yeah it’s Aoife.”
“When she came to us and said I really want to do it and help again… we were like ‘are you serious? Are you sure?’ And she said yes. It’s been absolutely amazing and she has been just incredible. She moved in with us and has a room with us.”
Arthur went on to admit that Blake is still too young to fully understand that she will be a big sister, revealing that their second child is due in June.
He admitted: “When we announced she (Blake) was having her breakfast, blase to what was happening in the world. It was Saturday morning and Blake was just having a banana and strawberry, no care in the world so she is too young to understand.”
