Muireann O’Connell has gushed about working with Karen Koster on Ireland AM: “I’m mad about her.”
Muireann is a full-time presenter on the daytime TV show, as was Karen until she took a step back from the show earlier this year.
Speaking to Goss.ie at our 10th birthday bash, the TV presenter gave an insight into working alongside her “hilarious” fellow host.
Muireann explained: “Karen comes into us all the time, she has been covering on Ireland AM since last November and she never said she was leaving Virgin Media.”
“She [Karen] always said ‘Listen, I’m gonna be back covering all the time, it’s just she couldn’t do it full time.”
“Karen has been coming into us at least once a month and it is always such a joy.”
“I’m mad about her, she is hilarious, she is brilliant and she has the best hair in the business.”
Muireann also opened up about whether she has a “dream guest” she would love to have on the show.
The Limerick woman explained: “Everyone, anyone, when people say this I think that anyone could be a dream guest because everyone has an interesting story no matter what it is.”
