David Beckham shares concerns with daughter Harper watching tell-all Netflix documentary

David Beckham has shared the concerns he had with his daughter Harper watching his tell-all Netflix documentary.

Last October, the streaming platform released a four-part series on the former footballer which featured a mix of never-before-seen personal archive footage from the last 40 years, candid current-day moments, and interviews with those closest to him.

The 49-year-old dubbed the docu-series a “love letter” to his career, but most importantly his family.

Speaking to Variety, David confessed that he had worries about her daughter hearing what has been said about him during his career.

He told the publication: “I was a little bit worried about my daughter seeing some of the things that were being said about me over the years and how she would react.”

“I’ve been telling my daughter for a long time that Mommy used to wear very, very short skirts.”

“And then she was like, “Daddy, Mommy did really wear really, really short skirts!” But she loved it,” he added.

Last month, the father-of-4 shared the sweet reason why he decided to film his tell-all documentary, Beckham.

Speaking on Good Morning America, David admitted: “The only reason I did it was because it was kind of a love letter to my career and the sport and also, more importantly, my family.”

“My family have been such an incredible support system throughout my whole life and my whole career.”

“To have all that archive and all that footage in one place, literally I could go, ”there you go” and that really was the only reason to do it.”

“I think we were all nervous going into it because we are… even though we have been pictured all over the world, and people know, most places, who we are, to let people into our home… But I also said that if I am going to do this, I am going to do it right and I am only going to do it once so everyone got on board,” he added.

The former footballer had one of the most successful careers notably playing for Manchester Untied and England.
