Scott van-der-Sluis has revealed his plans to “rekindle” with Catherine Agbaje, after being dumped from Love Island USA.
The former Shelbourne F.C. goalkeeper struck up a brief romance with the Irish beauty during his time on the UK version of the dating show earlier this summer.
The pair’s blossoming romance came to an end when Catherine returned from Casa Amor with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.
After Catherine and Elom split, fans began calling for her to rekindle her romance with Scott – with many pointing out their undeniable chemistry during the reunion show.
But in a shock twist, Scott then appeared on the US version of the dating show – where he struck up a romance with Johnnie Olivia.
The pair were dumped from the show earlier this week, after the public voted for their favourite couples.
In a new TikTok Live, Scott was asked about his relationship with Catherine.
The Welsh star said: “You all loved us together on the show, and I know you all had a little bit of hope. We were getting on really well as friends…”
“Me and Catherine get on really well outside of the show and I’m sure we’ll rekindle when I get back… We get on really well as friends. It will happen when I get back.”
