Alex Hall has set the record straight on allegations she had an affair with her Selling The OC co-star Tyler Stanaland.
Weeks after his ex-wife Brittany Snow hinted he was unfaithful during their marriage in a bombshell Call Her Daddy interview, the reality star has denied she would ever be a “counterpart” to someone’s infidelity.
In a post shared on Instagram, she wrote: “This post is meant to clarify and set the record straight on recent allegations seemingly aimed towards me.”

“I myself have NEVER been unfaithful in a relationship. Nor have I EVER been a counterpart to someone being unfaithful in their own relationship. PERIOD,” she continued.
“As a woman who has been on the receiving end of infidelity, I would never want another woman to go through that-nor put myself in a situation causing that.”
“I really hope that people can try to remember that even those in the public eye, or in the media are still REAL people..with real lives and real feelings. Please stop trying to string together a narrative that simply is NOT true.
“These untruths are extremely hurtful and go deeply against my being and what I believe in. Really hoping this ends here once and for all and I wish nothing but the best for the respective parties surrounding this,” she added.
Tyler announced his separation from Pitch Perfect actress Brittany Snow in September 2022 – two years after they tied the knot in Malibu, California.
At the time, it was reported that Tyler’s role on Netflix’s Selling The OC had put a strain on their marriage.
During the show’s first season, drama unfolded between Tyler and his co-stars when he revealed Kayla Cardona tried to kiss him on two separate occasions.
Polly Brindle claimed she witnessed the attempts by Kayla “twice”, and Austin Victoria claimed Kayla told Tyler that “no one had to know” about it.
Tyler told Kayla her actions made him feel uncomfortable as he was married, and Kayla promised it would never happen again.
The 33-year-old accepted that she made a mistake, and also apologised for blurring the lines between their professional and personal relationships.
Fans of the show also accused Tyler of flirting with his other female co-stars during season one – namely Alex Hall.
During season two, which was filmed after Tyler’s divorce from Brittany came to light, he shared a kiss with Alex in a hot tub.
While Brittany had remained silent about Tyler’s behaviour on the show, the actress finally addressed their breakup on an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast last month.
When asked if she watched Selling The OC, the 38-year-old: “Of course I saw it. I watched it with my dog.”
“I think the saddest part of the whole thing was I didn’t see any of it. To trust yourself after that and be like, ‘I have a good sense of character’ … I had instincts, and I think because I was in love I didn’t trust them.”
When asked if she knew the person involved in the cheating rumours, Brittany joked: “Um, which one?”
“I did not know what was going on,” she continued. “I think, as someone who is so hands-on with my career, I was just completely shocked that I didn’t have a handle on reality in that way. That was shocking.”
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alex directly responded to Brittany’s comments.
She said: “Her allegations and her calculated verbiage and approach to alluding to things that happened. Anything that was aimed at me is completely false and untrue.
“I think any viewer who watches the show can see that that’s untrue because you literally see mine and Tyler’s friendship progress, or not. And so people are gonna believe what they want to believe.”
“I think it was a really, really unfair move on Brittany Snow’s part. However, she did it for her business and that’s what I’m going with here,” Alex continued.
“And, I just would have had more respect for her if she would have said it with her chest and said, ‘Alex Hall did X, Y and Z with my husband while we were married,’ but she can’t do that because that would be a boldfaced lie. So, again, calculated in her best interest, maybe I get it, but very, very couldn’t be farther from the truth.”
Tyler announced his departure from The Oppenheim Group in October 2023, and shared his plans to work with his father at the rival Douglas Elliman firm.
Since he left the brokerage, Alex has revealed they haven’t spoken since.
“Tyler and I don’t speak. I haven’t spoken to him since very shortly after he left the Oppenheim Group or maybe the day that it was announced,” she confessed/
“I had a conversation with him. There was some revelations that were made, not by his choice, but some things that came to the surface that gave me some understanding and clarity on why certain things progressed or didn’t progress throughout season 3.”
[It] kind of gave me the closure that I needed, I guess. I wish him nothing but the best. I just don’t want to be dragged through it any further.”
Season three of Selling The OC will premiere on Netflix on May 3rd.
