Lateysha Grace has announced she’s expecting her second child.
The Valleys star, who welcomed her daughter Wynter in 2015, said she had been struggling to get pregnant for over a year.
The 29-year-old told Closer Magazine: “Every month I took a pregnancy test and it was negative – it was really starting to get me down. We stopped trying for a while, went on holiday for a break and when I came back I found out I was pregnant. I was so shocked!”
Lateysha admitted she was nervous about giving birth, as she had to undergo an emergency C-section with her daughter Wynter.
She said: “It was horrendous – I was so scared, I really wanted a natural water birth but it didn’t work out. I’m hoping to go for a planned C-section this time – I don’t want to go through that again.”
“I feel so blessed to be pregnant again. But I’ve learned my lesson from before and will do things differently this time.”
Just months after the birth of her daughter, the TV personality had excess fat from her body transferred to her bum.
She recalled: “I was so unhappy with my body after I had Wynter, I rushed into surgery a few months after she was born and had a bum lift and breast implants. I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to wait!”
“This time will be different, I know what to expect now. My body is going to change. I’m going to put on weight and get stretch marks but, honestly, I don’t care, I’m just grateful to be pregnant.”
“I was comparing myself to other mums who just seemed to snap back into shape. This time all my focus will be on the baby – my body can come after. I’m going to go to the gym, work out, eat healthily – I won’t be rushing back onto the surgery table. I put my body under too much strain after having Wynter.”
