The Late Late Toy Show is FINALLY here, with just two weeks to go until the much-anticipated programme.
This year’s teaser sees The Late Late Toy Show host Ryan Tubridy unleash his inner Sinatra as he hopes to impress a panel of mini-judges with a special lip-sync version of the modern festive classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.
This year The Late Late Toy Show airs on Friday, December 2nd with plans afoot for one of the most ambitious openings the programme has ever seen.
The theme of this year’s show remains top secret, however, producers revealed last month that the opening number is so big they have drafted in help from students at IADT Dun Laoghaire to make their vision a reality.
Fans will also get an insight into how the programme is put together in a three part documentary series – The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped – starting on Wednesday, November 30th on RTÉ One.
Last year’s The Late Late Toy Show was the second most watched programme on Irish television this century. The Beauty and the Beast themed show was the belle of the ball with Irish viewers with a total consolidated audience of 1.56 million viewers.
The application process to be in the audience for this year’s show is now closed but viewers could still win two tickets with the #ToyShowSnap competition, featuring the ‘RyanElf’.
The Late Late Toy Show will air Friday, December 2nd at 9.35pm.Â
