Kathryn Thomas has revealed that she WON’T be signing a magazine deal for her wedding day.
Earlier this month, the presenter revealed that she was engaged to restaurateur Padraig McLoughlin, after he got down on bended knee during a romantic weekend away at Ballyfin House in Co.Laois.
While plenty of TV stars would sign a magazine deal ahead of their nuptials to hand over exclusive details and photos from their special day, Kathryn has no interest, as her hubby-to-be isn’t too fond of the limelight.
“I don’t think so. He would be quite private,” she told the Herald.

“No, he gets why I have to do what I have to do. Is he jumping in there to be beside me? No and I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon.”
Meanwhile, Kathryn has admitted that getting hitched was never a huge priority for her, but it was a nice surprise all the same.
“I never saw marriage as an important thing for me. Over the last 10 years, it’s never been on the agenda and that was fine for me. Then when you’re with someone and they want to go down that route, very quickly you want to as well, without realising it yourself.”
“Six or seven months ago he asked if I would be interested and that’s when we first started talking about it. Then I knew he wanted that so I started to think about it in a way I haven’t before,” she said.
