Strictly Come Dancing legend set to make his return to the show – four year after departure

Kevin Clifton is set to make his return to Strictly Come Dancing.

The 41-year-old made his debut as a professional dancer on the BBC show back in 2013, and was partnered with Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid.

Following the 2019 series, Kevin decided to quit Strictly to “focus on other projects”.

Kevin placed runner-up on four out of the seven series of Strictly he appeared on, and won the 2018 series alongside his now-partner Stacey Dooley.

Although the 41-year-old isn’t returning to the BBC show as a professional dancer, he will take on a new role on its spin-off show It Takes Two.

He will stand in for his sister Joanne as host of the Choreography Corner, analysing the dances of the previous week.

Announcing his Strictly return, It Takes Two host Fleur East said: “Well Joanne you’re off next week aren’t you…”

“Yes boys and ghouls, next week is Halloween,” adding that there was a “spooky treat” in store for fans.

“It’s a scary time for our Strictly couples, made even more frightening because Kevin Clifton has risen again for Choreography Corner.”

Viewers can get involved by choosing Kevin’s Halloween costume.
