Stranger Things second season details revealed

The show is set to come back later this year

Stranger Things is coming back for a second season and details have been revealed of what fans can expect.

The first season was a massive hit and was the second most streamed show in 2016.

Now fans can rejoice in knowing that the entire young cast is returning, including Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven.

The second season takes place a year from where season one ended and actor David Harbour, who stars as Chief Hopper, revealed some of what fans can expect to come – including who The Goonie’s Sean Astin will play.

“[Sean is] Winona [Ryder]’s new boyfriend – much to the chagrin to the Chief of Police,” he said at a press panel at Fan2Sea Comic Con.

“It’s a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year – like Will has come back – there are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened.

“So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what.”

For those who are still wondering what happened to Barb, who vanished mysteriously and never returned, her disappearance is addressed.

“The question and the feelings that Nancy has that no one ever cares about her friend Barb are very much present in the beginning of the season,” he added.

More details were announced a few short months ago when a trailer for season two showed the titles of the upcoming episodes, including The Pumpkin Patch and The Lost Brother.
