Mischa Barton has been hospitalised for a mental evaluation.
TMZ reports that the O.C. star was voluntarily taken to hospital after worrying friends and neighbours with her behaviour on Thursday morning.
In photos obtained by the gossip site, Mischa was wearing just a dress shirt and tie and hanging over the fence of her West Hollywood home.

TMZ claims the actress was shouting about Ziggy Stardust and the end of the world, and claiming her mother is a witch.
At one point she apparently fell backwards off the fence in her garden and yelled, “Oh my God, it’s over! I feel it, and it’s angry!”
Police responded to a disturbance call about Mischa’s troubling behaviour and took her to hospital.
The 31-year-old was previously placed on psychiatric hold in 2009 for two weeks.
