Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews share adorable milestone moment with son Otto

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have shared the adorable moment their son Otto took his first steps.

It’s been a week of firsts for the toddler, as he also celebrated his first birthday just a few days ago.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Spencer filmed the happy moment Otto walked into Vogue’s arms before she lifted him up into the air.

Otto is their youngest child, and the couple are also parents to their four-year-old son Theodore and two-year-old daughter Gigi.

The proud moment came after Spencer and Vogue hit headlines earlier this week, when they revealed why they didn’t attend Jamie Laing’s wedding.

Jamie and his now-wife Sophie Habboo tied the knot at a registry office in London last Friday, ahead of their lavish wedding in Seville, Spain in May.

Spencer, who starred alongside Jamie in Made In Chelsea, and his wife Vogue were noticeably absent from the celebrations – as they were on a family holiday with their three children.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Spencer & Vogue podcast, Vogue revealed she and her husband “have been on the receiving end of some really mean messages” in recent days because they were not at the wedding.

The Irish presenter said: “Sophie looked absolutely magnificent, we were absolutely thrilled for them, but we also did not know it was happening because we were not invited.”

Spencer added: “I’m being absolutely hammed for ‘snubbing’ my best friend’s wedding to go on holiday… I’m not here to bitch about my best friend but there’s been some serious miscommunication from him.”

“I just want set the record straight, I’m not here to whinge. I was not invited to this part of Jamie’s wedding, and neither was Vogue.”

Spencer and Jamie have been close friends for years

The father-of-three continued: “Long story short, I didn’t get the call up. About 10 days ago, I was with Jamie recording [our podcast] 6 Degrees and I said: ‘Is there anything I can do for this registry, given that I’m part of the wedding and one of your best men?’”

“And he said: ‘No, this is a very small family thing and you don’t have to do anything. There’s nobody coming to it, it’s tiny.’ I get home from Portugal and there is an article saying I’ve snubbed his wedding and in the pictures, he’s surrounded by groomsmen and his mates and quite frankly, I’m like ‘What the f**k is happening here?’”

“I’ve got an inbox full of furious people that I’m not there, and I’m actually quite pissed off myself to be honest that I’ve not got the call up. So I called him the following day and he just said that the day wasn’t supposed to be what it turned out to be.”

“That there was never supposed to be groomsmen and bridesmaids there, but they decided to make more of a thing of it and I was away so it just didn’t cross his mind to call me.”

“I was like, ‘I would’ve flown over to Japan for that because you’re my best friend and I would’ve loved to have been there, and I don’t really think you made the right call deciding for me when you could have asked and I would have come.’ It’s water under the bridge now.”

Vogue then insisted she and Spencer were “in no way fighting with Jamie or Sophie”, and that they hope they had a great day – but they wish they were there to celebrate with them.

Spencer added: “It’s all past now anyway. If you are thinking about sending me a message, I’d appreciate you messaging Jamie instead and asking him why I wasn’t invited. That would be the more adequate route to take at this stage.”

“But for those wondering, I love Jamie and Sophie and we’re very close friends. Jamie has been profusely apologising that this was just a huge misunderstanding and a big mistake. And we just wanted to set the record straight.”
