Matthew MacNabb is officially off the market.
The Belfast native shot to fame on Love Island last summer when he joined the show in Casa Amor.
While he didn’t find love in the villa, Matthew recently started dating someone he met through Dancing with the Stars.
The reality star told the Irish Mail On Sunday: “I’ve been dating a few weeks now. It’s early days, so I want to keep it relatively quiet. But she does live in Dublin.”
“She is well known – we met through the show [DWTS],” he added, while keeping his girlfriend’s identity private.
Matthew is paired with Dublin native Laura Nolan on the RTÉ show, who confirmed earlier this season that she is also seeing someone.
Last month, Matthew spoke exclusively to Goss.ie about his dating life since leaving the Love Island villa last summer.
He told us: “Dating life for me is just a weird mix of whatever happens, happens. I just go with the flow and see how things go. It’s a little bit tougher to date girls online and stuff now.”
“Before Love Island, I’d just go on Hinge, but now obviously I can’t do that. Over Instagram DMs, you have to be a lot more careful. You don’t know who could be trying to trick you. So it’s a bit different now.”
Dancing with the Stars continues tonight on RTÉ One at 6:30pm.
