Jeremy McConnell has been RELEASED from prison

The reality star served just 34 days behind bars

Jeremy McConnell has been released from prison, after serving just 34 days behind bars.

According to The Sun, the disgraced reality star left HMP Cardiff in Wales this morning, after being sent down by a judge for breaching his community service order.

Jeremy was initially sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service for assaulting the mother of his child, Stephanie Davis, as she held their baby son, Caben Albi.

However, after Jeremy missed eight work appointments, a judge sent him to jail.

The Dubliner has been released with an electronic tag, and will be required to adhere to a curfew.

After leaving jail, Jeremy posted on his Instagram account, writing, “Thanks for all your messages. I’ve read so much lies and it’s incredible. Have a good New Year.”

Jeremy could be referring to reports that he “smeared excrement” across the walls of his friend’s apartment before he was jailed.

However, his friends denied the reports, and told The Sun Online, “Jez is deeply upset about what is being said inaccurately.”

“Yeah the room wasn’t tidy but the last thing the poor lad wanted to do was tidy his bedroom before going to jail. It was more like a student boy’s room rather than a crack den.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy’s representative said, “I have seen videos of the room before it was tidied and can confirm the description is greatly over exaggerated. There was no excrement anywhere and Jeremy himself has paid £74 himself for the room to be tidied.”
