Presenter Jeremy Dixon has revealed he’s had a stalker for the last four years.
The 98FM star has been stalked by a woman who has been sharing photos of him on Instagram and setting up fake Twitter accounts.
Jeremy, 40, revealed the woman has pretended to be his wife online – and he has now gone to the gardai in fear.
“When someone gets this infatuated, it’s incredibly dangerous,” he explained.
“When I saw this woman had pictures of me as a child on her Instagram, that was the last straw. I had to go to gardai.”
Jeremy said that laws need to be stricter on Twitter profiles, because it was so easy for her to pretend to be someone else.
“This women has set up 40 different Twitter profiles to harass me,” he told the Irish Sun.
“As soon as I block her on one, she creates another, it’s endless. She has tweeted nightclubs where I was DJ, accusing me of being on steroids.
“I’m not friends with her on Facebook, yet she has managed to take pictures of me as a child from my account and post them elsewhere.”
In several texts the woman reportedly asked Jeremy for sex and called him a “hypocrite”.
