While most festival goers love the camping experience, a new way to get through Electric Picnic has just been announced.
Orchard Thieves have announced the Bold mOTel at the annual music weekend, which will give festival goers the perfect place to party in between gigs.
Research conducted by Orchard Thieves has revealed that, on average, festival attendees spend 12.5 hours a day in the campsite waiting (dealing with hangovers for sure) and another six hours sleeping.
Although you would think you could SLEEP in the mOTel it’s actually there for the opposite reason – the cider brand wants you to get out of your tent and start partying early.
The Bold mOTel will be located in the main site area from 1pm on Saturday and Sunday as well as a special launch party on the Friday night from 7pm.
The Reception and The Bedroom will open their doors on a first-come-first-serve basis, from 1pm to 3pm (Saturday and Sunday).
Nap time: If you need a break there will be a MOTEL
Those who arrive early enough will be given their very own room keycard and a party time-slot.
Only pre-booked appointments will make it through the doors beyond that point.
The party’s pièce de résistance is the giant abandoned swimming pool-turned dancefloor.

Guests will be invited to get in the pool and dance the day away under the supervision of the DJ Lifeguard Tower.
Over the weekend, a full lineup of activities will be led by the motel’s resident Chief Thief and will include some live pop-up performances.
Motel guests will have the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities like lip sync battles, with lots of on-the-spot opportunities to win.
A host of well-known DJs will take to the poolside decks, playing all the ultimate hits of the past few decades.
