David Bowie is working with Irish playwright Enda Walsh on a new musical.
The musical will be based on the 1976 film The Man Who Fell To Earth and will feature his new music.
The Dublin based playwright, who wrote Ballyturk and The Walworth Farce, will work with the infamous singer.

The company’s artistic director James C. Nicola said that Lazarus, “has been in secret development for some years”.
It’s based on the story of Thomas Newton. It will be a mix of new Bowie songs and original arrangements of existing songs.
“It’s going to be a play with characters and songs. I’m calling it music theater, but I don’t really know what it’s going to be like.”

“I just have incredible trust in their creative vision,” he added.
Although it as been reported by The New York Times that David Bowie himself will not appear on stage.
Enda Walsh won a coveted Tony Award for Once and worked with the Gleesons on The Walwarth Farce.
