Red Hot Chili Peppers postpone Dublin gigs

The shows have been rescheduled for next year

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers have postponed their Dublin gig as one of the band member’s is sick.

The group were set to play the 3 Arena tomorrow, December 20th, and Wednesday December 21st.

Lead singer Anthony Kiedis is suffering from the flu and so unable to perform.

“We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days,” a statement from the band read on MCD’s website.

“Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year.”

Both show have been rescheduled to Wednesday the 20th of September for Tuesday’s gig and Thursday the 21st of September for Wednesday’s show.
