More drama: Now Garth Brooks won't be able to play in Ireland until 2017

There were new hopes this week that Garth Brooks could play Croke Park next year, but now it seems the country singer won’t be back until at least 2017.

While Croke Park director Peter McKenna said he wanted the Thunder Rolls singer to perform in 2015, now sources say there is “absolutely no hope”.

An insider told the Irish Sun that Garth won’t be able to return for years.

“When tickets went on sale for the first date of Garth Brooks Comeback in Chicago, such was
the demand, he had to add nine more shows.”

“Atlanta went on sale yesterday and is likely to be the same.”

“Other US cities will go the same way, meaning Garth could be solidly booked and touring in America for the next two or more years,” the source explained.
