Katie Price vows to ‘name and shame the celebrity who raped her in explosive new book’

Katie Price has vowed to “name and shame the celebrity who raped her in her explosive new book.”

The former glamour model previously claimed that she was sexually abused by a well-known person in 2009.

The reality star previously insisted she would never name the individual but is now said to have changed her mind after the MeToo movement inspired her.

A source told The Sun: “Katie thinks now is the time, she has nothing to lose.”

“After all the me-too stuff she thinks if other people have revealed their sex attackers, why can’t I?”

“She vows this will be her most shocking book ever, and she’s ready to name and shame.”

Katie previously opened up in a magazine column that she was “raped by a famous celebrity.”

She said: “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama.”

“I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.”

Back in 2009, Katie made the shocking revelation in response to allegations that her then-boyfriend Alex Reid had starred in a film which normalised rape.

She said in her weekly column for OK! magazine: “Rape is a subject very close to my own heart. I was raped when I was younger, more than once.”

“I’d never be associated with anything or anyone so sick,” she wrote.

“I’ve never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by these accusations that I would not take a subject, which affects so many women, seriously.”

Katie has also spoken about being sexually assaulted with two friends when she was six.

Speaking to Piers Morgan, she described how a man lured them into bushes as they played in a nearby park and offering them ice cream if they would let him touch them.

She told readers of her advice column: “I urge any woman who has been affected by rape and needs help to talk to somebody they trust about it.”
