Hozier reveals that he’s ‘going to disappear for a while’

Hozier has revealed that he will be taking some time off and will be disappearing for a while.

The Bray native recently worked on a track for the film, The Legend of Tarzan, entitled Better Love.

“I’m going to take some time off so this is the last thing I’m going to be putting my name to for a little while,” the artist said.

The musician is going to go under the radar but will begin working on his next album whilst laying low.

“I’m going to disappear for a while and work on the next album,” he revealed to RTE TEN.

“In a similar way how I worked the first time round, go to a very quiet space and just see how the demos take shape.”

The 26-year-old has no plans yet where he might go or what direction his album will go, but hints that he might start a side project.

“I might… I might have an idea… We’ll have to wait and see,” he teased.

“I’m still trying to navigate what’ll take place on the album and what will maybe exist outside of that or out of… Maybe a side project of something like that, so we’ll see.”

Meanwhile, Hozier recently revealed that he found working on the Tarzan soundtrack “tricky.”
