Electric Picnic have announced that 21 new acts have been added to this year’s line-up.
After their 2011 appearance, veteran rockers Boom Town Rats, who are fronted by Bob Geldof, will take to the Stradbally stage along with electro punk band Le Galaxie.
“See you all in September for @EPfestival!,” Le Galaxie tweeted.

British band The Staves and Irish act Villagers have also been added to the already stellar line-up.
The famed festival will be headlined by megastar Florence and the Machine, old school band Blur and singing sensation Sam Smith.
Unfortunately for those looking to nab tickets to the much sought after music festival – organisers earlier this month announced it’s sold out.
