Jennifer Love Hewitt has teased her potential reunion to the, I Know What You Did Last Summer, sequel.
The original 1997 thriller saw four friends who after being involved in a tragic accident, are stalked by a hook-wielding killer in their small seaside town.
The film starred Jennifer, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Ryan Phillippe as the film’s protagonists.
The sequel was announced last year and will be directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who also directed Netflix’s Do Revenge and Someone Great.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 45-year-old actress discussed her possible return to the franchise.
She said: “I can’t confirm but I won’t deny, how about that?”
She added that if she “hypothetically” were to come back for the planned sequel, her character would be “a lot older than she was but still kick ass.”
She said: “Here’s the truth, I don’t actually know what they have planned.”
“But I’m assuming that it’ll be lots of screaming and running around.”
“Hopefully the tops will be a little bigger than they were the first movie.”
At the minute the script and cast are still in the works.
