Eddie Redmayne gushes about Colin Farrell

Eddie Redmayne has gushed about Colin Farrell, and admitted that he has “adored” him for a “long, long time”.

The actors worked together on the much-anticipated Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Eddie told how working with Irish man Colin was one of the best parts of filming the movie.

“I adore Colin Farrell,” Eddie told RTÉ Entertainment.

“I’ve adored Colin Farrell for a long, long time and it was actually one of the great thrills of this project was getting to work with him. He’s such a lovely man, such a gentle man. Brilliant, just brilliant.”

Magical: Colin plays Percival Graves in Fantastic Beasts | WARNER BROS

Colin plays Percival Graves in the film, an Auror and Director of Magical Security at the Magical Congress of the USA (MACUSA).

British star Eddie plays the lead role of magizoologist Newt Scamander, as he arrives in New York with a suitcase full of magical creatures who wreak havoc on the city when they are accidentally let loose.

Eddie’s co-star Katherine Waterston also gushed about Dublin native Colin, and his eyebrows.

“My character, he’s my boss, so I had to be kind of intimidated and in awe of him, so I didn’t have to act. I’d just stare at him and his beautiful eyebrows,” she said.
