The 24 Hours Plays at the Abbey Theatre will help raise money for the Dublin Youth Theatre.

Originally, the 24 Hours Plays started in New York and are now an annual gala benefit on Broadway, as well as in London.

Last year, they played to a sold out audience at the Abbey, and to date have raised more than €25,500 for Dublin Youth Theatre.

Artistic director David Kelly said: “This fundraiser is a crucial event. The monies raised help us to realise an ambitious, exciting and challenging artistic programme.”
