Reese Witherspoon has finally responded to rumours she’s “dating” Tom Brady.
The Hollywood actress was recently linked to the NFL star, after celebrity gossip page DeuxMoi received an unverified tip that a romance had blossomed between the pair.
The rumour surfaced after Reese and her husband Jim Toth announced their split last month, after 11 years of marriage.
Tom also recently settled his divorce from his wife of 13 years, Gisele Bündchen.
While fans loved the thought of Reese and Tom together, the Legally Blonde star’s rep has confirmed the rumours are completely false.
A spokesperson for Tom also denied the claims to PEOPLE, and a source told the outlet that the pair have never even met.
Reese announced her split from her husband Jim Toth on March 24.
Taking to Instagram with a joint statement, the former couple said: “We have some personal news to share… It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”
“Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.”
“These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”
The former couple tied the knot on March 26, 2011, and share a 10-year-old son named Tennessee.
The actress also shares daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
As for Tom, the former quarterback announced his divorce from Gisele Bündchen in October after 13 years of marriage.
The former couple – who share kids Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9 – said at the time: “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”
“We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
