Isla Fisher has been spotted for the first time without her wedding ring, after announcing her split from Sacha Baron Cohen.
Last week, the pair revealed that they had “quietly” separated, after 13 years of marriage.
In photos published by the Daily Mail, the Australian actress was papped with a bare ring finger as she walked her dog in north London on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old kept a low profile with sunglasses on, but was speaking to someone animatedly on the phone.
Last Friday, both Sacha and Isla took to Instagram and shared a photo of the couple dressed in tennis gear to announce their split.
The Instagram story read: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down.”
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
The news of their split comes after Rebel Wilson made some shocking claims against Sacha in her new memoir, Rebel Rising.
In the book, the actress accused her former co-star of “humiliating and degrading” her on the set of their 2016 film Grimsby.
While Sacha has strenuously denied her claims against him, the timing of his and Isla’s split announcement has reportedly raised eyebrows.
One insider said to the UK Mail on Sunday: “You do have to wonder whether Wilson’s memoir and the timing of the couple’s split announcement are more than a coincidence.”
“Despite being determined to keep their break-up secret for months, suddenly Sacha’s reputation is being questioned and Isla is well known as a strong supporter of women’s rights. So you do have to wonder.”
They continued: “Sacha and Isla have always presented themselves as a kooky kind of brand. Indeed, few people originally expected them to get together, or stay together.”
“Isla is just lovely. She has a reputation as a lovely, fun-loving woman. For Sacha, she’s been the perfect antidote to his reputation of a sometimes acid-tongued comedian.
“It’s fair to say that he needed her for his career more than she needed him.”
The Sun has also claimed Isla Fisher contacted the UK’s most fearsome divorce lawyer, £550-an-hour Fiona Shackleton, back in 2022.
