Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have separated after 13 years of marriage.
The Borat comedian and the Wedding Crashers actress have kept their relationship out of the spotlight for the majority of their relationship.
However, it has now been revealed that the couple who first met back in 2001, have been separated since 2023.
A source told Page Six that Sacha met with celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser late last year.
However, the couple has not yet officially filed for divorce.
Both Sacha and Isla shared a photo of the couple dressed in tennis gear to announce their split.
The Instagram story read: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down.”
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
The news of their split comes after Rebel Wilson branded Sacha an “a**hole” in her upcoming memoir- Rebel Rising.
The Australian also claimed that the actor asked her to strip naked on set amid their vicious legal battle.
Last week, the actress claimed she was facing potential legal action after writing about her experience working with an unnamed former co-star, who we now know to be Sacha.
Rebel has now claimed she had an uncomfortable experience with the actor while filming the 2016 comedy The Brothers Grimsby.
The actress played the role of Dawn who was his character Nobby’s girlfriend.
In the paragraph obtained by People Magazine, Rebel claimed that Sacha would repeatedly ask her to strip off for scenes despite her “no nudity” rule.
