Hollywood actress urges Britney Spears to make her fiancé Sam Asghari ‘sign a prenup’

Octavia Spencer has urged Britney Spears to make her fiancé Sam Asghari “sign a prenup”.

The couple announced their engagement on Sunday night, after five years together.

A host of famous faces reacted to the news in Britney’s comment section, including Hollywood actress Octavia.

According to screenshot’s posted online, the 51-year-old commented under the post: “Make him sign a prenup.”

Goss.ie has contacted Octavia’s rep for a comment.

Many fans also encouraged the pair to sign a prenup in the comments, amid Britney’s ongoing legal battle over her controversial conservatorship.

One fan wrote: “so happy for you mama but please make sure y’all sign that prenup.”

Another commented: “Get you a bullet proof prenup. He should embrace that after all you’ve been through.”

The news comes just two months after Britney expressed her desire to get married and have another baby during her bombshell court testimony.

Calling for an end to her conservatorship, which has controlled her life since 2008, Britney said: “I want to be able to get married and have a baby.”

“I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant,” she alleged.

“I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children — any more children,” she claimed.

Britney’s father Jamie Spears has since filed a petition to end her controversial conservatorship after 13 years.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Britney’s estate is worth $57.4 million – which includes $2.7 million in cash assets, and $54.7 million in non-cash assets.

The 39-year-old was placed under a conservatorship after she suffered an alleged breakdown in 2008.

A conservatorship is granted to those who are incapable of making decisions, such as people with mental disabilities.

The arrangement put her estate, financial assets, and some personal assets under the control of her father Jamie, and lawyer Andrew Wallet – who has since resigned from the role.

The pop star’s conservatorship has been under review since 2019 after she accused her father of forcing her to enter a mental health facility.

In November last year, the songstress tried to have her father removed as her conservator, but her request was denied.

Instead, a judge named wealth management firm the Bessemer Trust as co-conservator of her estate, alongside her father.

However, Bessemer Trust has since resigned from the role.
